Outside the Condo
Just off the living room is a large covered deck almost overhanging the water, just 50 feet away at high tide. That’s the Nantucket Sound with Nantucket about 28 miles to your left, and Martha’s Vineyard just four miles away to the right.
In addition to the two Adirondack chairs on the front deck, there are wooden old fashioned glider chairs and a gliding bench.
Off the bedroom is the large triangular Ship’s Prow deck, named for its pointy end from which you can overlook the beach and Martha’s Vineyard beyond. The exterior furniture is heavy polywood (a dense plastic composite); it won’t blow around like normal patio chairs and we get high winds and gale-force gusts on occasion.
There are two more Adirondack chairs (we have soft seating cushions for all four) on this deck along with a set of high-seat chairs for just watching the ever-changing seas. There’s a Polywood dining table with four chairs and a Weber heavy-duty electric grill. A folding table that seats four can be moved around for additional dining on either deck, just add the light wire stacking chairs in the living room.
