Check in time is 2:00 PM (or earlier if we can) and check-out is 10:00 AM (or later if possible).
You’ll find tons of large beach towels in the bathroom – use them. Beach chairs and an umbrella and a beach tent are available in the storage closet. Go out the condo, take a left at the hall and the first door on your left is the storage area. Use your exterior key to get in and you key to #4108 to open our storage unit. There’s a guitar in there if you play.
Further down the hall is the laundry room with large washers and high speed dryers, you open a simple wi-fi enable account as they are pay-for-use. Use them for large washes if needed. There is a small stacking washer/dryer in the unit. Note to open the washer door you have to hold the latch 2/3 seconds before it unlocks.
Use stuff like detergent, Kleenex, detergent, salad dressing, condiments, etc. as you please. If anything gets low, make a note and try to replace it when you shop. If time does not allow, just leave a note behind so we can get it for the next visitor. If you forget, No Worries – you’re at the beach!
I keep forgetting to get an iron and ironing board – I wonder why?? If you need/want one let Jerry know and he’ll bring it over. Need a reading lamp or anything, let him know. We outfit as we learn stuff is needed. I can’t remember if there’s a hair dryer there, Jeeze!
We can’t receive mail at the condo complex at all – long-term residents get a PO Box at the post office Mashpee Commons if needed. But deliveries can come to 94 Shore Drive West where they are left outside the Main Entrance. Folks just bring them in and put them on the round counter in the lobby for the addressee to find. More about that below.

Just push back on the armrests to recline – lock the position with the big dial. Buttons operate the power foot rest. Charge both chairs’ batteries every 2/3 weeks. Find the charging cable behind the TV to the left. Pull it out and connect it to each chair for an hour. Then relax…

.The Samsung TV
A new OLED smart TV is provided, which automatically uses the high-end Sonos Arc soundbar and two vintage Bose speakers for music or TV.
Turn on the TV from the remote by pressing the top left red button. The circular pad controls the direction of choices you make on the TV screen. Always start with the Home Screen which you access by pushing the Home Button.

function, to show artworks you select in hi-def. Access it by navigating up the Home Screen’s left option panel and clicking the round center button once you highlight “Art.” On the screen that appears next find My Library and select “Favorites.” Then on the next screen select “Display All.”
75 pictures will rotate on the screen every 15 minutes.
The majority of apps (like Netflix, Apple, Brit Box, PBS, ESPN, Paramount+, Disney, etc. are all loaded on and you can usually just click and use them. You can “sign-out” of any app and sign back in with your credentials, or text Jerry for his username and PW if you prefer. If you watch a move, just leave the $ it cost behind with the keys if you remember.
Games & Puzzles and More
In the cabinet under the TV to the right are tons of wooden puzzles and games, as it is a vacation rental. No one has really used them yet, but if you are in the mood for a vicious game of Sorry! you’re all set.
There is also a small, electric fireplace with fake flames that can throw quite a bit of infrared heat. The remote control is usually stored under the TV. It’s kind of cool on a cold day. In the cabinet next to the wall oven are two Vornado space heaters, which can spot warm you on a really cold day. They serve to supplement the hotel-style PTAC heater/AC units. Finally, there are fuzzy, warm comforters which wind up stored in odd places, so look for them.
Dining
The five white wire stacking chairs can be used outdoors with the wooded folding table (usually) stored next to the bedroom sliding door.

Kitchen
There is a new easy-to-use Cuisinart convecting toaster oven that air fries. It has dials, no LED readouts nor touch screens to learn and cause stress. The brand new Samsung refrigerator holds the groceries and has a hidden filtered water dispenser with a pitcher and spout. Ice accumulates in the lower drawer. All the other expected appliances are there along with pots, pans, dish and silverware, etc. Paper products are there, just replace what you use if you think of it while shopping. You won’t be doing much cooking as you can order and pick up a pizza and or get a sandwich made at the boutiques grocery at the Market Place three-minutes away.
Plants

During the fall/winter/spring we use the humidifier which, if you are visiting during the off season, you can use a pot to add water to the fill line by taking off the front cover. Set it to 35% and forget it. It is not critical in the warm weather so don’t bother if it’s a hassle. If you leave the condo for a few days, please email/text Jerry and he’ll water the plants in your place.

There is a Lavazza automatic coffee maker with special cups. Drop in one of the provided coffee, espresso or double shot espresso
capsules to automatically make a cappuccino, latte or macchiato. No milk frothing or complex settings. Just push a button. Here’s a cool YouTube video showing the Lavazza in action.
The Lavazza coffee and espresso shot capsules in a drawer in the kitchen are free for your use. If you need more, consider ordering it next day delivery from Amazon here. Only get Lavazza capsules for the
machine. Buy only Lavazza Intenso coffee and/or Espresso Intenso in x1 or x2 (double) strengths. The x2 makes a better cappuccino or latte. The capsules come, 26 per box as shown above. They run around $22 for 36 capsules – about 60 cents for a coffee drink, not bad.

Depending on who was living in the condo last, there’s either a dining table with four chairs or a set of gliders on the deck. People move them between the two decks. Except for the wooden gliders, the furniture is heavy Polywood so you don’t need to bring them when the wind blows. You’re on the sea, gales happen! You might lean the gliders over as they are lighter and do blow over.

There is a folding wood table that seats four you can put anywhere; just bring over the stacking wire chairs as needed.
Bathroom
The bathroom can be accessed from either the bedroom or the living area; it’s all marble with an oversize shower. Being an old residential hotel (note the sprinklers in the apartment!) there is a single hot water heater and pumps circulate the hot water constantly throughout the buildings, thus you will have almost instant hot water at any faucet.
Turning on Lights
Some lights and functions are run by Alexa. There are voice control units everywhere. Just say “Alexa” followed by a command, like:
• Turn on/off all lights
• Lower the kitchen lights to 50% warm white
• Change the living room lights to blue, red, etc. full strength
• Set the bedroom thermostat to 70°
• Set all the thermostats to 72° degrees.
• Turn on (off) the Lava lamps
• Turn on the Arc lamp (or light) full white
Individual lights are labeled as below, you can command any one item to function. They are also grouped. You can say “Alexa” set all the thermostats to 72° or set the Kitchen Lights to warm white at 50%.
The lights controlled by Alexa are labeled, they include: Kitchen Pendant Lights, Bar Light, Lava Lamps. At the request of older AI avoidant guests the 3-way bulb lights on top of the beer refrigerator, on the bedroom dresser, night light and two bed-side table lamps are operated conventionally and may be disconnected from Alexa.
Below are the Group and individual names for devices:

The kitchen ceiling cans operate only by switches near the front and bathroom doors. The Night Light also only operates via the nearby switch, so you need not speak waking your partner up.
You can ask Alexa for the weather, time of sunset, advice on cooking, to set a timer or almost anything. Physical switches still control the recessed kitchen lights, bathroom lights, night light and closet lights.
EV Charging
There are no public access electric charge points in the parking lot, or anywhere in New Seabury. Nearby, Mashpee Commons has a long row of Tesla superchargers as well as a couple of free charge stations at the north end of their complex. There’s plenty to do in the Commons while your car charges.
Garbage Drop-off
There are bins for garbage and cardboard through the door to the left as you come in enter the main entrance. We are single-stream so recyclables are not separated from other garbage. You’ll find plastic garbage bags in the kitchen drawers so just drop off your garbage when you need to.
Laundry
Unit #4108 has a stacking washer/dryer you are welcome to use. For giant loads, just down the hallway are commercial machines that bill a small charge on an app you download. They are great for bed spreads. Detergent is provided, kindly replenish it when it gets low always buying liquid HE washer detergent. Use half as much HE detergent as you normally do for efficient front loaders.
Electric Fireplace
Under the TV is a small electric fireplace with an infrared heater. There is a remote control kept under the TV. Click the image to the right to read the manual if you want to learn how to use it.

Electric Grill
On the big Ship’s Prow deck find a high-end Weber electric grill. It is pretty self-explanatory. You will have to plug it in at first use. The grilling utensils are usually in a drawer in the kitchen island, but everyone moves things around. High winds
could blow off the cover, so wrap the lower velcro straps around the wheel/leg axles.
